Deswell integrated its operations through manufacturing metallic molds and accessory parts for use in audio equipment, telephone and copying machines. The metallic manufacturing operation consists mainly of two major processes:

Mold Fabrication. Metal mold plates are crafted into the required shapes by computer-controlled precision machines for the formation of various metal parts.

Sheet Metal Stamping. Steel sheets pass through various metal stamping machines to form the required metal casings and parts. Deswell can produce metal parts automatically and quickly without the requirement of molds by one of its advanced stamping machines. The machine is not used for bulk quantity production.
